Over the course of the day, hundreds of rescuers, police officers, emergency medics and utility workers were responding to the aftermath of a large-scale Russian shelling in Kyiv, Dnipro and other Ukrainian cities. Fires were extinguished, the wounded were helped and rubble was removed in several regions. This was stated by the President of Ukraine in his evening video address Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The aftermath of the attack: dozens of dead and over a hundred wounded
Russian troops carried out one of the most brutal attacks, using a wide range of weapons, from attack drones to ballistic missiles. In total, more than 70 missiles and more than 650 drones were launched overnight. During the day, the attacks continued, with the enemy using about 100 more unmanned aerial vehicles.
The shelling damaged civilian and infrastructure facilities in many regions of Ukraine:

Kyiv: residential buildings were hit, clinic and a car dealership. A Zircon missile damaged seven buildings at once.

Dnipro: enemy «Shahed» fighters hit high-rise buildings.

Other regions: Residential areas and facilities in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson and Khmelnytsky regions were hit.
The total number of people injured in the massive attack has risen to 130. 22 people were killed, including two children. The President expressed condolences to all those who lost loved ones.
«Once again, Putin and his madness have “won” the lives of ordinary children, residential buildings, and a clinic in Kyiv. “The Chechens were against high-rise buildings in Dnipro and for some reason also against a car dealership with Chinese cars in Kyiv,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
Complicity in murders: thousands of foreign parts in Russian weapons
In his address, the President paid special attention to the problem of bypassing the Russian Federation international sanctions. The Head of State stressed that none of the types of Russian missiles or drones can be produced without imported components, which are brought to Russia from other countries through large-scale shadow schemes.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy provided specific data on the number of foreign parts found in the remnants of Russian weapons that attacked Ukraine.

«That is, in each of these strikes, there is, perhaps, an unconscious, but still complicity of those who work for Russia, who provide Russia with money, who help it circumvent sanctions and look for not just one or two, but thousands of components without which Russian military production will simply stop. Large-scale schemes to circumvent sanctions. And this is absolutely real complicity in the killings,» the President of Ukraine said.
The Ukrainian side once again calls on the international community to strengthen export controls to the maximum extent possible to cut off the supply of microelectronics and other important technologies to the aggressor country.
