In Krasnodar, on the morning of 22 July, a large-scale fire broke out in the vicinity of a warehouse complex following a drone attack. The Russian authorities reported that debris from the UAV had fallen on the grounds of the logistics facility and that at least three people had been injured. Wildberries announced the evacuation of its logistics centre in Krasnodar for safety reasons.
Footage of a major fire is circulating on social media: a column of thick black smoke is rising above the area, and the flames can be seen from a considerable distance. At the same time, official Russian reports at this stage refer to the fall of drone debris, rather than a confirmed direct hit by a Ukrainian drone.
A warehouse complex in Krasnodar has come under attack
According to reports from the Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters, debris from the drones fell onto the grounds of a warehouse complex during the attack. Three people were injured in the incident and were taken to hospital.
Following the attack, Wildberries evacuated its logistics centre in Krasnodar. The company stated that staff were evacuated in accordance with safety requirements. Operations at the facility have been temporarily suspended.
Founder of Wildberries Tetyana Kim She stated that the company’s priority remains the safety of people, and thanked the team for their swift evacuation. She also confirmed the earlier reports regarding the injured and promised to provide them with the necessary assistance.
Residential buildings have been damaged in Krasnodar
The effects of the attack were also reported in other parts of the region. According to the Russian operational headquarters, in Krasnodar, fragments of drones damaged two blocks of flats, and in the village of Dinskaya, two private houses.
In the Karasunsky District of Krasnodar, debris also fell onto the grounds of a garage co-operative.
Russian sources are attributing the attack to Ukraine. At the time of writing, the Ukrainian side had not publicly commented on the possible strike on the Wildberries logistics complex in Krasnodar.
Wildberries has evacuated yet another logistics centre

Russian sources reported a fire at a warehouse complex in Nevinnomyssk. The company confirmed the evacuation of two of its sites — in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions — in accordance with safety procedures.
This is not the first time in recent days that Wildberries’ large logistics facilities in Russia have come under attack from drones. Previous strikes were reported at the company’s logistics centres in Kotovsk, in the Tambov Region, and in Elektrostal, in the Moscow Region.
A series of attacks is creating new risks for Russian logistics
Fires and the evacuation of several large warehouse complexes at once could have consequences beyond the marketplace itself. Wildberries is one of the largest e-commerce operators in Russia, and its logistics network serves a huge number of sellers and daily orders. Following previous attacks, the company has already been forced to restore operations at damaged facilities.
The latest attack highlights the vulnerability of major logistics hubs located in the Russian rear. At the same time, the full extent of the damage to the complex in Krasnodar and the impact of the incident on Wildberries’ operations have yet to be assessed.
