Since the evening, Russian troops have attacked the Nikopol, Kam’yans’kyi, Synelnykivskyi and Kryvyi Rih districts nearly 30 times. Infrastructure, medical facilities, homes, a shop and cars were damaged.

Damage in four districts of the region
In the Nikopol district, rescue workers rescued two people from damaged homes and put out a fire at a medical facility. In the district centre and three local communities, infrastructure, a GP surgery, a shop, private homes and cars were damaged.
An infrastructure facility has been damaged in the Kam’yans’kyi district. In the Synelnykivskyi district, a farm building caught fire following an air strike.
Russian troops also carried out strikes on two communities in the Kryvyi Rih district. A fire broke out in a two-storey building there.
The attacks are continuing in the wake of the July strikes
The Nikopol, Synelnykiv, Kryvyi Rih and Kam’yanske districts were mentioned in police reports on Russian attacks in the earlier days of July as well. In particular, on 27 July, the police reported damage to homes, cars, educational establishments, a supermarket and other facilities in Nikopol and the Synelnykivskyi district.
The geographical distribution of the recent attacks and their number indicate that the region is under heavy bombardment. At the same time, apart from the air strike in the Synelnykivskyi district, the types of weapons used in individual incidents during this attack have not been specified. The damage to the outpatient clinic and the fire at the medical facility may make it more difficult for residents to access medical care.
Civilian casualties in Ukraine are rising
The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission recorded at least 293 civilian deaths and 1,990 civilian injuries in Ukraine in June 2026. The UN described this month as the deadliest in terms of the total number of civilian casualties since April 2022 and attributed the losses, in particular, to aerial bombs, artillery and multiple launch rocket systems.
