The number of people injured as a result of the massive Russian attack on Kyiv has risen to 15. Among the injured are two boys aged 13 and 17. All those injured have been admitted to city hospitals, according to the capital’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, four people were killed as a result of the shelling. People are trapped in a residential building

According to preliminary information from monitoring sources, Russia may have used «Zircon» hypersonic missiles. The Air Force is due to determine the exact type of missile following an analysis of the trajectories and debris.
The second strike occurred at a time when rescue workers, paramedics, police officers and utility services were already working at the damaged sites. This posed an immediate and deadly threat not only to the city’s residents but also to emergency service personnel. It cannot be ruled out that the second attack may have been intended to target civilians and rescue workers.
Work continues in the capital to clear up the aftermath
Rescue workers are putting out fires, clearing away the rubble and inspecting damaged buildings. Medical teams are on standby at the sites of the strikes.
Residents of Kyiv are being urged not to leave their shelters immediately after the explosions and to keep an eye on official announcements. Russian forces may carry out repeat launches following brief pauses or the all-clear.
