A night-time operation took place in Perm and the Volgograd Region
Zelensky He reported that the strike on the Perm plant took place during the night. Footage has appeared online showing a large plume of smoke rising above the city’s industrial area; the president later confirmed that the facility had been hit.
Another confirmed target was the «Marinovka» military airfield in the Volgograd region. The President did not provide any detailed information on the consequences of this attack.
Damage to a fighter-bomber has been confirmed in Akhtubinsk
The President also reported on the results of a previous long-range strike on the «Akhtubinsk» airfield in the Astrakhan region, which is located approximately 600 km from the front line. A Russian Su-34 was damaged there.
This was confirmed following an analysis of satellite images of the airfield. The Su-34 is a fighter-bomber which Russia is using, in particular, to carry out strikes against Ukraine.
Fires broke out at the drone base in Primorsko-Akhtarsk
Another confirmed result relates to Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Krasnodar Region, approximately 180 km from the front line. According to Zelenskyy, a facility used for the storage, preparation and launch of attack drones was struck there.
The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) had previously stated that Russian troops regularly launch attack drones at Ukraine from this area. According to intelligence reports, fires broke out at the airfield following the attack, and the ground-based components of the systems and the UAV launchers were damaged.
Tanks and pipelines have been damaged at the «Tamanneftegaz» terminal
At the same time, the Defence Forces attacked the «Tamanneftegaz» maritime terminal in the Krasnodar Krai. Ukrainian intelligence stated that the facility was supplying the Russian army; the tank farm and sections of the main pipelines there were damaged.
