What is known about the attack on «Nova Poshta»
On the consequences of the shelling the company’s press office reported. The damage was recorded following a night-time Russian attack on the Kyiv region.
According to the operator, Branch No. 6 has been destroyed, whilst the sorting depot in the capital sustained damage. The company confirmed that none of its staff were injured.
The photograph shows the building’s collapsed walls and metal structures, fragments of brick and damaged lorries. Part of the site is covered in rubble.
What will happen to parcels and compensation?
Cargo at the targeted sites partially destroyed. At the same time, the company is moving the undamaged parcels to another location.
Recipients will be notified separately of the branch number and address to which their parcels will be redirected. «Nova Poshta» has promised to reimburse the declared value of any parcels that have been destroyed.
For customers, this means two separate processes: the delivery of parcels that have been saved, and compensation for those that have been lost. The company’s statement does not specify the number of parcels destroyed or the total amount of losses.
