Orban: Trump-Putin summit in Budapest delayed but will take place
Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban confirmed that Donald trump and Vladimir Putin to hold a summit in Budapest has not been cancelled, although its holding postponed.

Budapest, which is actively positioning itself as a a platform for peace initiatives, proposed to hold a meeting between the US President Donald Trump and the Russian leader Vladimir Putin for discussing ways to end the war in Ukraine.
Preparations for the summit are underway with the participation of diplomatic advisers from both sides. According to the Hungarian media, the main topics to be discussed are “a new security architecture in Europe” and possible conditions cessation of hostilities.
Orban did not specify when the meeting might take place, but stressed that “the window of opportunity for peace is not yet closed”.
