In November 2025, co-owner and chief designer of Fire Point Denis Stielerman confirmed that businessman Timur Mindich claimed 50% of the company's shares. The conversations published by Ukrayinska Pravda refer to discussions about selling 33% of Fire Point to investors for $600 million. Of this amount, the investor was allegedly ready to invest $300 million in the company's development, and another $300 million was a cashout for shareholders, including Mindich himself.

The discussion of such transactions between Mindic and Umerov created additional tensions in society, especially given the strategic importance of Fire Point for Ukraine's defence industry. The issue of transparency and fairness of such deals has become particularly acute.
