Ukrainian company AIDRONESUA and Swedish NJORD Technology AB signed a memorandum of strategic partnership at the Eurosatory 2026 international defence exhibition in Paris. The document lays the foundations for long-term cooperation in the production of the MAUL ground-based robotic system (GRS), technological development and manufacturing cooperation.

Features of the MAUL ground-based robotic system

MAUL NRC — is a multi-purpose platform designed for the evacuation of the wounded, logistical support, the delivery of ammunition and the execution of special missions in challenging conditions. The system is constantly being improved based on feedback from military users. Its modular architecture and robust design minimise risks to personnel and enhance the effectiveness of operations.

A combination of Ukrainian expertise and Swedish engineering

The partnership combines Ukraine’s practical experience in developing robotic systems with Sweden’s engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities. Representatives of the companies noted that the joint production of MAUL robotic systems in Sweden will enable them to expand production capacity and speed up the delivery of innovative systems.

This cooperation has the potential to strengthen the defence-industrial partnership between Ukraine and Sweden. It will facilitate the introduction of new technological solutions and the development of advanced robotic systems, which will enhance safety and the effectiveness of mission execution in combat conditions.
