On shelling, reconstruction and day-to-day resilience
In his address, Klitschko stated that the enemy has been trying to wear the country down for five years now: to leave people without electricity and heating, and to destroy homes, logistics and the economy.
At the same time, he mentioned rebuilding damaged buildings and homes. Following the night-time shelling, according to the mayor, people are going to work, taking their children to nurseries and schools, keeping their sense of humour and supporting one another.
Klitschko urged Ukrainians to believe in themselves and in Ukraine, and congratulated them on Independence Day.
