Russian drones destroyed a shoe factory building in the Odesa region

On the night of 15 August, Russian drones attacked the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district in the Odesa region. The strikes destroyed a shoe factory building and caused fires.

A fire broke out on the factory premises

Following the UAV strike, the canteen, the boiler room and a car caught fire. The blast wave and debris also damaged the windows and façade of the administrative building.

Rescue workers put out the fire and began clearing up the aftermath of the attack.

A fire broke out at yet another location

Elsewhere, an abandoned private house and some dry grass nearby caught fire. Firefighters put out the blaze and prevented the fire from spreading further.

According to preliminary information from the State Emergency Service, there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the night-time attack. The full extent of the damage caused by the strikes is currently being assessed.
