On the morning of 18 September, Russian forces attacked the Fastiv district in the Kyiv region using drones. A family of five – a man, a woman and three children – were injured in the strike. One detached house was completely destroyed, another was damaged, and a car was also wrecked. The father and children were taken to hospital.

A family with three children has been affected
According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, as a result of this morning’s attack in the Fastiv district suffered two adults and three children. The doctors diagnosed the children with acute trauma and acute stress reaction. All three were admitted to hospital.
The woman also suffered an acute stress reaction. The man was diagnosed with thermal burns, a shrapnel wound and a cut to the foot. He was taken to a medical facility. The injured are receiving the necessary treatment.
One house has been completely destroyed
The private residential area has been seriously damaged as a result of the Russian attack. One private house completely destroyed, another house has been damaged. A car has also been damaged. Photographs released by the police and emergency services show extensive damage to the house and a fire at the site of the impact.
Rescue workers and the police are at the scene
Units from the State Emergency Service, the police and other relevant agencies are working at the scene of the attack. They are dealing with the aftermath of the strike and documenting the damage. The Kyiv Regional Police have urged residents of the region not to ignore air-raid sirens and to head straight for shelters in the event of danger.
