Damage to Russian Federation vessels: new figures from the SBS

The Command of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) has reported that 21 vessels belonging to the Russian Federation have been struck over the past 72 hours. Among the targets struck were 19 tankers belonging to the shadow fleet, one dry cargo ship and one ferry, which was in the Kerch area.

«Our units are continuing to strike at the enemy’s logistics, in particular at the tankers used to supply military resources,» said the commander of the SBS Robert Brovdi, known by the call sign «Magyar».»

Strikes on military targets in Crimea

In addition to maritime targets, the Unmanned Systems Forces also reported striking 53 military targets in Crimea and in the temporarily occupied territories of southern Ukraine. A key aspect of the operations was the destruction of six electrical substations as part of Operation «Crimean Circuit Breaker Off». According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, between 1 and 8 July, the total number of energy facilities destroyed reached 50.

«These strikes are part of our strategy to disrupt the enemy’s supply chains,» Brovdi emphasised.

At present, the Russian side has not commented on these reports, and no independent confirmation of the extent of the damage to ships and military installations has yet been received. The SBS operations are being coordinated by the newly established Deep Strike Centre, which highlights the growing effectiveness of Ukrainian unmanned systems.
