Overall technical performance figures
In total, since 24 February 2022, the General Staff estimates Russia’s losses at 12,158 tanks, 24,971 armoured fighting vehicles and 46,343 artillery systems. The number of reported losses of operational-tactical UAVs stands at 418,425 units.
The summary also lists 1,953 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,511 air defence systems, 4,933 cruise missiles, 122,894 vehicles and tankers, and 4,433 units of specialised equipment.
Two-day trend in reported losses
This is the second day in a row that the General Staff’s report has cited Russian personnel losses of over 1,500: on 19 July, the General Staff reported 1,520 casualties, and on 20 July, 1,600. In total, over the two reporting days, this amounts to 3,120 personnel.
During the same period, the General Staff said. 174 artillery systems, 1,152 vehicles and tankers, and 3,627 operational-tactical UAVs. The daily reports do not specify in which areas or under what circumstances these losses were incurred.
The figures published are estimates provided by the Ukrainian General Staff. The figures are consistent with the previous report for 19 July: the total number of personnel losses has risen from 1,428,930 to 1,430,530.
