A second strike on the strategic oil depot
A major fire has broken out at the «Poltavska» oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. According to initial reports, the fire engulfed several fuel tanks following a night-time attack. This is the second attack on this facility in the last month. The oil depot is one of the region’s major logistics hubs and comprises 28 storage tanks for fuel and lubricants.
Officials from the local authorities have, as is customary, attributed the incident to «falling drone debris». No information has yet been released regarding the extent of the damage or the volume of fuel lost. At the same time, reports are emerging in open sources of a major fire and thick smoke over the oil depot site.

Reports of explosions and air defence systems being activated came in from several regions across the country. In addition to Krasnodar Krai, local authorities reported incidents in other regions as well, where they also attributed the damage to «falling debris».
