During their attack on Kyiv on 23 September, Russian forces struck the Darnitsa pharmaceutical factory. The company has confirmed the attack but, for security reasons, has not yet disclosed the nature or extent of the damage. No employees were killed.

Darnitsa has confirmed that the factory was hit
A spokesperson for the pharmaceutical company reported the attack Kateryna Zagoriy. According to her, the company will not comment on the nature of the damage or other consequences of the impact until the relevant authorities have completed their investigation.
At the same time, Darnytsia confirmed that There have been no fatalities amongst the staff. The company has also asked that no photos, videos or other information from the scene of the attack – which may contain sensitive data – be shared.
«For security reasons and until the relevant authorities have completed their work, we are not commenting on the details regarding the nature of the damage or its consequences.».
Kyiv came under a heavy attack this morning
On 23 September, Russian drones attacked several areas of Kyiv at once.
There were official reports of strikes and fires at transport infrastructure sites, petrol stations and warehouses. In particular, in the Darnytskyi district, a strike on a transport infrastructure site and a fire at a petrol station were recorded.
Fires Incidents also occurred in the Solomyanskyi and Holosiivskyi districts of the capital. Rescue workers and other emergency services were on the scene.
The Darnitsa factory has already been targeted by a Russian attack
This is not the first blow to the pharmaceutical company’s production facilities this year.
On the night of 28 June 2026 The Darnitsa company also sustained damage as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv. At the time, the company reported that there were no fatalities or injuries amongst its staff, and that the factory had continued to operate.
As regards the consequences of the latest attack on 23 September, the company has not yet stated whether the attack has affected its production process.
