25 September Taylor Swift has released an expanded edition of her 2025 album — The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore.

Swift explained that the new songs came about following a trip to Sweden with producers Max Martin and Shellback. According to her, the musicians had intended to celebrate the success of the original album, but there was a studio nearby — and so the work continued.
