Cargo plane crashes in the US: there are dead and injured
In the state Kentucky a cargo plane crashed. According to preliminary data, the following people died three people, more 11 people were injured. This was reported by the governor of the state Andy Beshear during the briefing.
The plane crashed near the airport Louisville named after Muhammad Ali. The impact caused some of the debris to catch fire, causing large-scale fire. Rescuers, medics and representatives of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are working at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing
The cause of the crash has not yet been established. Representatives of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that the plane belonged to a private cargo company that operated a regular flight between Louisville and Memphis.
Governor Beshear expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and said that the state government was providing all necessary assistance to the victims and their families.
