Chernihiv region suffers massive UAV attack: residential buildings and critical infrastructure damaged
Chernihiv region on the night of 6 December came under another massive attack by Russian attack drones. This was reported by the regional State Emergency Service.
Entering the residential sector
Several points of impact were recorded in Koryukivka district:
Residential buildings were damaged;
one of the civilian objects was hit;
fires broke out, which rescuers extinguished during the night.
According to the rescuers, more than a dozen units of equipment were working at the site.
Attacks on critical infrastructure in Chernihiv
The enemy attacked critical infrastructure facilities in the city of Chernihiv and Chernihiv district. The fires were promptly contained.
Preliminary, there is no information about the victims. The extent of the damage is still being determined.
Rescuers' work and the aftermath of the attack
The Chernihiv region's SES units continue to work at the sites of the attacks. The situation remains under control, but the level of danger due to repeated attacks is high.
