Shahed drone training base at Donetsk airport destroyed

On the temporarily occupied territory in Donetsk a massive strike was carried out on the training base for Shahed/Geranium drones«, which was located on the territory of Donetsk airport.

According to the available information, the operation jointly planned by the intelligence of the 414th Brigade «Birds of Magyars» and the newly created centre for deep defeat of the SSF. It was at this facility that the enemy stored, maintained and prepared attack drones for launch.

What objects were affected

The strike hit key elements of the enemy's infrastructure, including:

• the Geranium/Shahed UAV logistics hub«;

• pre-flight training and maintenance facilities for the Geranium/Shahed and Gerbera UAVs«;

• the central depot of combat units for the Geranium/Shahed UAV«;

• storage warehouse of the Gerbera aircraft«;

• a point of concentration of personnel and technical staff, which ensured the preparation of drones for launches.

Context.

The occupation forces used Donetsk airport as a logistics and technical hub for drone attacks, including the civil and energy infrastructure of Ukraine.

The defeat of the following objects reduces the enemy's ability to massively use strike UAVs and complicates the logistics of their preparation and launch.
