Fire Point is expanding its missile range
In addition to the FP-9, the company is developing the FP-7 ballistic missile, with a range of up to 200 kilometres and a warhead weighing 150 kilograms. Fire Point also manufactures the FP-1 and FP-2 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles and the FP-5 «Flamingo» cruise missile.
The presentation of the FP-9 abroad demonstrates that Ukraine is gradually developing its own range of long-range weapons. However, the missile’s true capabilities and the timeframe for its operational deployment can only be assessed once testing has been completed and the system has been officially adopted into service.
