Ukraine, together with its European partners, is promoting the creation of an anti-ballistic missile coalition. Today, representatives of 13 countries and the NATO Secretary General's office took part in the meeting, and the initiative is close to practical results.

According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Representatives of 13 countries and the NATO Secretary General's office joined the discussion of the production of anti-ballistic systems. This cooperation was made possible by the steadfast position of Ukraine and its partners. Joining forces in missile defence is a response to the current security challenges facing the region.

President Zelenskyy emphasised that today Ukrainian positions at the front, Ukraine's defence, sanctions policy and cooperation with partners are the strongest in years. He stressed that every joint step with European allies makes Ukraine's defence more powerful and its foreign policy positions more beneficial for the country. All these efforts are aimed at helping Ukraine and strengthening its resilience to threats.
Ukraine's anti-ballistic missile initiative has received support not only at the political but also at the practical level. The formation of the coalition will allow European countries to counter missile threats more effectively, as well as to ensure the protection of civilians and critical infrastructure.

Zelenskyy thanked all Ukrainians who remain united in their desire to protect the country's independence and sovereignty.
