An investigation carried out jointly by The Insider, Der Spiegel and Le Monde has revealed the extent of military-technical cooperation between China and Russia. Documents obtained by journalists show that Beijing has been actively supplying Moscow with advanced military technology. Russia, in turn, has used this technology during the hostilities in Ukraine.

«This cooperation poses a serious threat to European security,» said German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful.

The documents outline five key areas of cooperation: air defence systems, autonomous munitions, space technology, armoured vehicles and aviation. Particular attention was paid to new air defence systems capable of intercepting ballistic and hypersonic missiles.
