Damage to the business park and restrictions on residents
Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko reported that a drone had crashed into a business centre, following which the emergency services arrived at the scene. The building sustained significant damage; according to Forbes, the premises of neighbouring companies were also affected.
The management of «Europassage» has urged residents not to come to the offices or visit the business park for the time being, whilst work continues in the wake of the attack. Kyiv city authorities also recorded other drone crashes in the Holosiivskyi district during the day, though they did not link them to this location.
Assistance for the wounded and the city-wide consequences of the attack
Suziria Group has stated that its employees have been provided with the necessary medical care. The company is in constant contact with those affected and their families to ensure they receive the support they need.
The information regarding injured staff relates solely to the company. As at 15:45 National Police reported that two people had been killed and 36 injured in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack. Law enforcement officers, medical staff and rescue workers continued to work at the sites of the strikes.
The group’s second asset to be damaged in the space of a few days
On the night of 19 September, a Russian attack damaged a Suziria Group warehouse in the Kyiv region, covering an area of over 8,000 square metres. The staff were taking shelter at the time, so none of them were injured.
Following the attack, the company reported a fire, an forthcoming assessment of the extent of the damage, and its intention to resume operations at the site as soon as possible. The attacks on 19 and 23 September therefore damaged two different assets belonging to the group — a warehouse in the Kyiv region and an office in the capital.
