On the morning of 28 September, Russian forces continued their drone attacks on Kyiv. In the Obolon district, a drone struck a petrol station, whilst in the Holosiivskyi district, it struck a café near a petrol station. Another strike was recorded at an office block in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital.

A drone struck a petrol station in the Obolon district
The city authorities reported on the initial consequences of this morning’s attack. In the Obolon district, the petrol pumps at a petrol station were damaged after being struck by a drone.
A fire broke out at the petrol station. The emergency services arrived at the scene.
According to preliminary, unofficial reports, network facilities may have been affected during this morning’s attack Ukrnafta and OKKO. However, at the time of writing, there has been no official confirmation from the companies themselves or the city authorities regarding the names of the affected petrol stations.
In the Holosiivskyi district, a café near a petrol station was hit
Later, the Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko reported another strike — this time in the Holosiivskyi district.
A Russian UAV struck a café located near a petrol station. Following reports of the strike, the emergency services were dispatched to the scene. At that point, the city authorities were still ascertaining the extent of the damage and whether anyone had been injured as a result of this morning’s strike.
An office building has been damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi district
Another strike was reported in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv. A drone struck an office block.
Emergency services were also dispatched to the scene of the attack. Throughout the night fires in office premises were recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi and Pechersk districts of the capital.
The morning attack was a continuation of the prolonged strike on Kyiv during the night of 28 September. According to rescue services, at least four people were injured as a result of the night-time strikes: three in the Podilskyi district and one more in the Holosiivskyi district. There, a Russian drone struck a private two-storey house.
