Russian troops continue to launch attacks on the Sumy region using drones. Over the past 24 hours, the communities of Sumy, Buryn, Trostyanets and Bilopil have come under attack.

A civilian vehicle caught fire in Sumy

A fire broke out in civilian vehicles in Sumy following strikes by Russian drones. In addition, a fire broke out in an open area at another location, which was swiftly brought under control by units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Agricultural enterprises have been hit hard

In the Buryn and Trostyanets communities, Russian troops attacked agricultural enterprises. The strikes caused fires, which were quickly contained and extinguished. The extent of the damage to the enterprises is currently being assessed.

Fires in the residential sector

In the Bilopil community, three outbuildings in a residential area caught fire as a result of Russian shelling. Emergency services extinguished the fires and prevented them from spreading to residential buildings. According to the State Emergency Service, all the fires have now been extinguished.
