The threat of a large-scale attack by the Russian Federation

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whilst returning from a working visit to Ireland, urgently urged Ukrainians to be cautious due to the threat of a massive strike from the Russian Federation. According to him, intelligence had provided urgent information about preparations for an enemy attack, which forced him to hasten his return to Kyiv.

«Today there is some very disturbing information about preparations for yet another such large-scale Russian attack. We know that Putin has been preparing this attack for some time,» said Zelenskyy.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasised the importance of following safety guidelines, urging citizens to take shelter. He assured them that Ukrainian air defence forces had already received the necessary orders and were ready to repel the attack.

Operational update: drones in the air

In parallel with these events, specialist monitoring groups and OSINT analysts recorded enemy activity. As of this evening, there have been reports of massive launches of attack drones of the «Shahed»from several directions, including from the Millerovo and Shatalovo airfields, as well as from the Kursk Oblast of the Russian Federation. The first groups of drones are already heading towards Ukraine.”.

Furthermore, the high level of combat readiness of the Russian Air Force’s strategic aviation has been confirmed. At present, at least 11 Tu-95MS strategic bombers are ready for take-off; these are capable of carrying X-101 and X-555 cruise missiles.
