Following yet another Russian attack on Kyiv, several more internet service providers in the capital — KIEVNET, Domonet and FAUST/Fast.net — have reported network disruptions. With backbone sites and cables damaged, subscribers in some parts of the capital may be left without internet access. Restoration work is being hampered by technical teams’ limited access to the sites of the strikes.

Domonet has reported serious damage to its network
У Domonet stated that as a result of of Russian shelling Several of the company’s main sites have been taken out of action. A significant amount of main cable has also been damaged.
At the time of the report, technical experts did not have access to some of the damaged sites, so it is not yet possible to begin full-scale restoration work there.
The company stated that once they had gained access to the infrastructure, they would be able to assess the extent of the damage and the timeframe for restoring service more accurately. Domonet promised to provide the next update to its subscribers by 15:00.
FAUST/Fast.net: some services have already been restored
The provider also reported on the consequences of the strikes FAUST/Fast.net, which operates in Kyiv and the surrounding region. The company’s official website confirms that the provider’s network covers the capital and utilises fibre-optic infrastructure.
Following the attack, damage and partial disruption to services were recorded in in the Holosiivskyi and Solomianskyi districts. Services have already resumed in the areas around Heroes of the Defence Street and the «Exhibition Centre» underground station. At the same time, problems persist in the Solomyanskyi district, particularly in the areas Batyeva Hill, Osvity Street and Kryvonos Street. The provider stated that repairs there depend on gaining access to the site of the Russian strike. They plan to carry out part of the work once the relevant restrictions have been lifted.
KIEVNET’s infrastructure was also damaged
Damage to the network infrastructure following the attack has also been reported in KIEVNET. The provider has its own fibre-optic backbone and technical sites in Kyiv and the surrounding region. At the time of writing, there is no detailed information available in open sources regarding specific affected sections or the estimated timeframe for KIEVNET’s full restoration.
Consequently, the impact of attacks on the capital’s telecommunications infrastructure is no longer limited to a single operator or data centre.
