SBS Performance Report for July

Since the beginning of July, the Unmanned Systems Forces have continued to perform at a high level. Between 1 and 11 July, Ukrainian operators have already struck or destroyed 18,034 enemy targets.

Casualties amongst Russian military personnel during this period totalled 3,763 service personnel. This indicates the systematic use of unmanned aerial systems to strike at the enemy’s manpower and military infrastructure.

The importance of the SBS’s work

Regular reports from the Unmanned Systems Forces demonstrate the growing role of drones in modern combat operations. The sustained targeting of enemy personnel, equipment and positions is limiting the Russian forces’ ability to advance and complicating their logistics. The increase in the number of targets struck indicates that Ukrainian drones are having a growing impact on the course of the war.
