The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated data on combat losses of Russian troops as of 9 June 2026. Over the past day, the enemy lost more than 1,300 personnel and thousands of pieces of equipment, including drones and artillery systems. Total losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 1.3 million people.
- As of 8 June, 1,380 Russian troops and 2,046 UAVs were destroyed.
- Total enemy losses since 24 February 2022 exceed 1.37 million people.

From 24 February 2022 to 9 June 2026 losses of Russian troops approximately 1,376,330 personnel. During this period, 12,000 tanks, 24,717 armoured combat vehicles, 4,252 special vehicles and 104,772 motor vehicles were destroyed.
Lost air defence systems, artillery and aircraft
During the hostilities, the enemy lost 43,646 artillery systems, 1,852 multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,410 air defence systems. As for aircraft, 436 planes, 353 helicopters and 338,270 tactical drones were destroyed.
