On the night of 28 September, drones attacked the «Edelweiss-95» oil depot in the Krasnodar Krai region of Russia. Following a series of explosions on the site in the village of Novotitarovskaya, a major fire broke out. The facility specialises in the storage and wholesale supply of petrol and diesel fuel.

The first reports of the attack emerged during the night. Residents of the village of Novotitarivska reported seeing drones and numerous explosions — particularly near the railway line. Footage of a major fire was soon posted online. The video shows intense flames and a column of thick smoke rising above the industrial area.
OSINT analysis of the footage made it possible to geolocate the point of origin of the fire. According to preliminary reports, the fire engulfed the site of the oil depot belonging to the Krasnodar-based company «Edelweiss-95». The exact extent of the damage to the site had not been reported as of this morning. There are also no official figures on casualties.
What is known about «Edelweiss-95»
The company has been operating in the Russian petroleum products market for around 30 years. Its main area of business is the wholesale supply of fuel.
The company sells:
- Euro 5-compliant diesel fuel;
- AI-92 petrol;
- AI-95 petrol;
- AI-100 petrol.
The total declared capacity of the storage tanks at the company’s own oil depot is 4,500 cubic metres.
The facility also has railway infrastructure for receiving and dispatching fuel. This enables the company to receive large consignments of petroleum products and dispatch them quickly to its customers.
Fuel is sourced from major Russian refineries
On its own website, «Edelweiss-95» states that it works directly with leading Russian manufacturers and purchases petroleum products from the largest Oil refinery countries.
The company is also a listed member of the St Petersburg Stock Exchange. The company describes its own oil depot as one of the key elements of its logistics: it ensures a constant supply of various types of fuel and enables shipments to be made within a single working day.
