The Moldovan Ministry of Defence reported that during a Russian night-time attack, five drones violated the country’s airspace. They entered from the direction of Ukraine, and within a few minutes some turned back, whilst others disappeared from the radars. Due to the threat, border authorities temporarily restricted operations at border crossing points.

Activity was recorded in several areas of the south-east
The Moldovan Border Police recorded incidents overnight near Palanka, Kaplaniv, Karakhasan, Krokmaz, Oleneshtiv, Purkar, Rasketiv, Seitsiv and on the left bank of the Dniester. The report lists the following times: 03:56, 03:59, 04:09 and 04:16.
Moldovan patrols heard the sound of drones in the Palanka–Krokmaz, Tudora and Seitsy areas. Their observations were confirmed by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Border crossing points have resumed operations following the restrictions
Due to the threat, the operations of six were temporarily suspended border crossing points. Among the border crossings mentioned are Vulcanesti–Vynogradivka, Mirne–Tabaky, Cismichioi–Dolynske, Giurgiulești–Reni and Seici–Lisne. The latter was closed separately from 05:48 to 06:30. Subsequently, all border crossing points resumed normal operations.
At the time of reporting, border guards had not found any drone debris or other dangerous objects in the border zone. Monitoring is continuing in conjunction with the relevant Ukrainian authorities; residents have been urged not to touch any potential debris and to call 112.
