A combined missile and drone strike in Zhytomyr region killed one person and injured five others. Dozens of residential and commercial buildings were destroyed and damaged. Rescuers are continuing to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
Scale of destruction after the attack
Today's combined missile and drone strike in Zhytomyr region destroyed 18 buildings, including 9 residential buildings. Over 100 residential buildings, over 55 commercial premises and 2 shops were damaged. The occupiers targeted civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
Victims and survivors
According to the official information of the regional military administration, one person was reported dead. The number of injured has increased to five - four people have been unblocked from the rubble. All of them are receiving medical care in hospitals in the region.
Rescuers' work continues
Search and rescue operations, firefighting and mitigation of the impact are ongoing. Emergency services are working to clear the rubble, help the victims and evacuate residents from dangerous areas.
