Koretsky reported that the participants in the meeting discussed the state of the energy sector ahead of the heating season and future cooperation, in particular the possibility of increasing purchases of liquefied natural gas from the US. The Prime Minister also raised the issue of corporate governance reforms in state-owned energy companies.
The Prime Minister presented an initiative to the American side aimed at expanding the war risk insurance programme. «I am counting on the support and active participation of the American side,» said Koretsky.
