Man opens fire in premises of territorial recruitment centre - police detain him
A shooting took place in Kremenchuk (Poltava region) at the local territorial centre for recruitment and social support. According to local media reports, the incident occurred during the military medical examination board (MMEB).
According to preliminary reports, the man took out a converted pistol and opened fire on the servicemen. As a result of the shooting two servicemen were wounded, They were hospitalised. According to the Poltava CCC, their lives are not in danger.
The police promptly detained the shooter. Investigators are working at the scene, and the circumstances of the incident are being established.
A spokesperson for the Poltava Regional TCC said that the incident occurred during the paperwork process, when the man pulled out a gun without warning and made several shots.

The police noted that criminal proceedings had been opened under articles on attempted murder and illegal handling of weapons. Law enforcement officers are checking the origin of the gun and the motives of the attacker.
