According to the parties, the following issues remain in the negotiations to end the war one or two fundamental questions, including territorial issue.
Donald Trump stressed that the demand for an end to the war is extremely high:

According to Trump, the topic of the power plant has been discussed for a long time. He stated that Vladimir Putin is seeking to resume its operation and maintenance.
«Putin is working with Ukraine to launch the world's largest nuclear power plant. Today I learned that about 5,000 people work there. Putin is seeking to restart its operation,» Trump said.
The US President also did not rule out a possible visit to Ukraine:
«I might go to Ukraine to address the parliament. I don't think it's necessary, but if it helps save 25,000 lives a month, I will go.».
Next steps
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope that the negotiations would soon move to the final stage:
decision on all documents is pending in January;

At the same time, Trump said that during today's conversation, Putin told him that he was ready to end the war:
