In the morning of 21 April 2026, the private sector of Zamist village in Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, was attacked by the enemy. The attack resulted in a fire that engulfed a residential building and an outbuilding with a total area of 65 square metres.
According to rescuers, the fire started immediately after the shelling. The prompt response allowed the fire to be quickly contained and extinguished, preventing it from spreading to other buildings.
The work of rescuers at the scene
The SES units, a medical team and a community rescue officer were on the scene. Their actions helped to avoid casualties and minimise material damage. Rescuers say the fire was extinguished as quickly as possible.
The medical team was on standby, but did not have to provide assistance, as no injuries were reported.

According to local authorities, the villagers were not injured. The prompt response of the rescuers prevented possible tragic consequences.
