Double attack on a «Nova Poshta» terminal in the Dnipropetrovsk region

On Friday evening, Russian troops attacked logistics infrastructure on the outskirts of Dnipro. Following the strikes, a fire broke out at the terminal, engulfing part of the warehouse facilities.

Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Alexander Ganzha confirmed that a fire had broken out at the logistics company’s warehouses in the Dniprovskyi district. Photographs of the aftermath of the attack show the damaged warehouse complex, destroyed metal structures and flames inside the building.

Work is underway at the site to deal with the aftermath of the shelling. The extent of the damage to equipment and cargo is being assessed.

What will happen to parcels sent by Ukrainians?

An attack on a logistics terminal poses a risk of losing consignments that were being sorted or stored. However, the exact number of parcels damaged or destroyed is currently unknown.

This is not the first attack on «Nova Poshta’s» infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Throughout 2026, Russian troops have repeatedly attacked the company’s sorting centres and branches.

In particular, On 3 September, a Russian strike destroyed a depot and a branch office in Dnipro. One worker was killed and five others were injured.

Yet another blow to civilian logistics threatens not only the company’s operations, but also the delivery of goods, documents and personal parcels belonging to Ukrainians.
