A ballistic strike on the factory
On the afternoon of 29 June 2026, Russian troops attacked Dnipro using ballistic missiles. One of the strikes hit the site of a factory, causing significant damage. Thick smoke rose above the site of the attack following the strike, and a fire broke out on the premises. Rescue workers, paramedics and other emergency services arrived at the scene promptly.
There are dead and wounded
According to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Four people were killed as a result of the attack. A further ten people sustained injuries of varying severity. One of the injured is a 22-year-old man who is in a serious condition. Details of the consequences of the strike are still being clarified.
Work is continuing on site
Rescue workers are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the shelling and to inspect the company’s premises. Law enforcement officers are documenting yet another war crime committed by Russia against Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.
