Today, 5 July, an explosion occurred in the Podilskyi district of the Odesa region, injuring two police officers. The incident took place whilst a moped rider was being stopped for a breach of the Highway Code. Whilst checking his documents, the police discovered that the 52-year-old man was NWF.

Upon realising that his documents were not in order, the moped rider produced a grenade and began threatening to use it. Moments later, an explosion rang out, injuring not only the offender but also two police officers who were carrying out their duties.
